Hello everyone.
It's great to find a place to chat with Spurs fans about all things Tottenham. Seattle is not exactly a football (not American) hotbed and my wife wouldn't know Paul Robinson from Robinson Crusoe.
I've been a Spurs fan since just after the World Cup in 2006. My sister-in-law (living in Leeds) turned me on to them, and even though it's been an up and down season and a half, I'm totally hooked.
Satellite TV lets me get almost all of Spurs games, including Carling Cup action. I'm bummed that I won't get the FA Cup replay this week, but I'll have my Tottenham kit and scarf on for the second leg of the Carling Cup against those bastards, Arsenal.
My favorite player is Ledley King, although when he's injured it's Berbatov. I know he's a sulky, moody ponce, but he's got skills.
Cheers,
-WM.
P.S. I'm a nutter when it comes to reading all the Premier League transfer news. What are the best sites (other than this one, of course) to visit for up to date rumors and the latest dealings?
hi and a massive warm welcome
enjoy the site mate
Hey, a fellow Seattle resident. :2:
Welcome to the site, 'tis good stuff.
I think this one site called e-soccer probably has the most stuff, all links to other things, updated every hour or so. I can't remember the exact address, but just pop "soccer transfer rumors" into google and go to the esoccer one, when your in the mood for load upon load of transfer folly.Originally Posted by willfulmurder

Wow... another Seattle-ite. Cool. I'm technically in Redmond.
Are there any good pubs to take in a game?
Unfortunately, most of the games are on at 7:00am, which is a wee bit early for the pub.
Welcome to the forum, good to see you know to hate the Ars***l anyway :10:
If you started supporting Spurs at the world cup you probably havent got to see Ledley play much since then, at least he's back now!
Not sure if your into the NFL too but as a Redskins fan I'm upset at the way your Seahawks allowed us to come back into the match in the 4th Q only to stomp all over us, crushing what little hope we had of progressing :3:

Hey WM!Satellite TV lets me get almost all of Spurs games, including Carling Cup action.
I'm an S4 too (Spurs Supporter Stuck in the States). What type of satellite package do you have to catch "almost all" of the games?
tnx,
Ryan
