GREECE vs CROATIA

A far more important game than the one happening in Podgorica !!

Kick off is at 19:45 (UK time) on Friday night.

A win for Croatia will seal their qualification for Euro 2012, with a game to spare.

Niko, Luka, Charlie & the rest of the squad arrived in Greece at lunchtime today and had an early evening training session at the stadium in Piraeus. There's some pictures here:

Charlie has been troubled by a long-standing Achilles injury, but should be OK to play. Luka and a fully-fit Niko have both spoken of how optimistic they are about this game.

One interesting side note - the referee for this game is ...... HOWARD WEBB.

@1van I was just about to send the exact same thing about Vida, you managed to edit it just in time
I would actually prefer him rather than Simunic. Hes more in shape, had a terrific season so far (best Dinamo player imo) and is a great investment for the future. I would keep Simunic as a first backup for CBs and LB.

vida is good and future central back for croatia but for this game we need someone with good experience in international games who played all or nothing games and therefore simunic is perfect imo.

Lovren and vida together would just be a very young partnership and untested in such an important game it would be a risk.

True that he is internationally inexperienced but I really think he is a better option then Simunic who spent more then a year on the bench. if he managed to hold the likes of Ronaldo and Benzema like an artist I don't think Samaras, who cant score for the life of him, would pose more trouble. He is the most composed footballer I've seen in a long time.

I honestly don't know what language I'm listening to. It could be Greek.

But don't the Greeks call their country 'Hellas'? In the corner of the screen, it says 'GRE 0 - CRO 0', so maybe it's NOT Greek?

I'm confused! But at least the score is still 0-0.

i had one stream and croatia was attacking from left to right... then another stream i see them attacking from right to left... confusing as hell..

one stream is mirrored definitely.. but whats really confusing is both show result and time normally and not mirrored..
