More breaks = More commercial advertisement time = More revenue
b*llocks to that!! FIFA can stick that idea right up their corrupt oil coated chocolate shoots!!
Fair enough it may make the matches safer for players & officials.
Fair enough there's a chance for players to rehydrate.
Fair enough it allows for more advertising and brings more revenue to the game.
Fair enough if it reaches the outskirts of the canadian hockey lovers.
But if they think i'm gonna be forced to sit through a pre-game, first-break, second-break & full time "analysis" by Andy fookin Townsend or some clown of the same ilk, they can think again.

Having said all that ........
Fifa was quick to distance itself from the suggestion - a spokesman said that "the possibility has not been discussed" and that in any case it would require a change to the official laws of the game to be approved by the International Football Association Board. Nonetheless, the emergence of the proposition is unlikely to bolster the credibility of Qatar as hosts for the 2022 tournament.
if i remember they mentioned something similar for the 94 us world cup, 4 quarters, bigger goals, 1 piece kits, all sorts of stuff, it came to nothing in the end, just as this will

shouldn't have they thought of the climate conditions BEFORE excepting money (or whatever else) and awarding Qatar the World Cup... sit on your humble pie a f*cking eat it i say...
I really hope some players just turn to their national teams and say 'f8ck that i'm not playing in that world cup'
Don't really give a crap about the more revenue because it does not go to the game it goes in some rich mother ****ers pocket.
There are enough commercials in the world we don't need more.
And we don't need players passing out mid match from heat exhaustion and dehydration, but thats still gonna happen.
Guess it all goes back to why the **** did Qatar even get it -.-
and also how is Qatar even a word, theres no U after the Q
They won't even put a video camera on the goal line. They're not going to change the structure of the game.
Football has always been know as the.....game....of....threee....thirds
If they are thinking changing the structure of the game clearly they chose the wrong place to host the tournament
