I've felt the need to make this thread now based on how important this game is (and to beat Heroes to it!) Simply put, W.I.N. no excuses, no bad referee calls, just go out play the best XI and get a fookin result. There has been a nice debate on who should start and what sort of formation we should play.

Saw Capello has made the first change in his tactics, naming the squad earlier than he does which I hope is at least 24 hours before the game. Get these boys mentally prepared and we'll see the difference in their performance. I'd personally play this XI:

Yeah i'd say that's about the best squad we can put out seeing as a change IS needed. Personal preference would see lampard in there in place of either Barry or Gerrard.

Rooney needs to be dropped, he has done nothing recently for England and what he said last week was an insult to all the England fans who werent annoyed enough that their team played bad, but then had to enjoy shrek telling them they were bad supports.

lads just coming through on rte{irish tv} it showed an interview with capello today,and he says terry has made a big mistake with the interview.they then asked him if he has a french style revoltion on his hands and he said no it was just one player speaking out and that none of the other players said fook all.they are speculating that he will drop terry for the game now.
