Enjoy it North Americans as Europe gets raped again. Why on Earth do we have to wait till mid July while NA gets it this week Add to that the espn for free American deal while Microsoft told the Beeb "up yours" when they told MS they could have have IPlayer but it HAD to be free.

Sick of Europe being treated like second class citizens by those money grabbing bastards.

On topic - yup the new design looks cool the wi-fi is a big selling point,as is the "whisper quiet" workings and the price (if you live in the US) is great.

I may well invest in one of these and use it as a media center for all my music and videos if it comes with a huge HD.

I saw a pic the other day of a supposed XBox-720...........and soem new age image recognition system that negates the need for controlers.

BTW Bensrecon you might get screwed out of systems coming a bit late WE OVER HERE THO GET SCREWED OUT OF GAMES OR EXTRAS.

Ex: On the Fable 2 collectors edition the UK got a Hobbe figure along with some other goodies when I got the game here I ONLY GOT CARDS THAT'S IT! Also Assassins Creed I believe in Europe you could get the collectors edition and you got a pretty good sized figurine while again here you get screwed with something bite size.

Javi I appreciate what you are saying my friend but a hobbe and AC collectors is minor compared to the fact that you get endless new apps and a portion for free while Europe gets nothing or has to pay for the privelage. Fable and AC I can understand as they are both made by European dev teams but you get the games and systems for a ridiculously low price compared to what we pay.

You are right that the conversion should mean that for example $300 would mean £150 but in reality even including Value Added Tax European gamers still get hit by some dumbass stealth charge put in place by publishers that regularly push the UK price to almost a quarter extra of what you would be paying if the whole world used the USD as currency. Example of it is Red Dead Redemption (yes you can get it cheap if you shop around but) RRP in the US brand new is $60 over here it's £50 which puts the price in USD closer to 75. You get ESPN free soon with it's 3500 sports events, we get watered down Sky and have to pay. We should have BBC IPlayer (free tv catchup service) but because BBC insisted it had to be free Micro$oft said no. I'd rather get screwed over a couple of extras in collectors editions than pay what we do for games and systems and get screwed over services. I mean hell even release dates are a joke. A game a few days earlier over there fine it's annoying but I can take it but WHY in the example of the new xbox design do we have to wait a month longer than North America when the tech inside the casing is exactly the same?

Lads I got a problem.

I am repairing a couple of 360's and I cant get them to overheat to seal the ECU & GPU to the Heat sinks with the thermal paste.

I have looked on youtube and cant find anything applicable. I have detached the fan and left it for 15 mins but it still seems to not want to over heat.

I am more than not keen on getting a heat gun out and frying the circuit board in order to melt the chips solder-balls again.

Any options? Suggestions?

As for games being released later I don't see why they do that you would think they would be able to release them in both markets at the same time and it is crap that they can't do such a simple thing. Ben my guess is I really don't care much anymore for gaming as I used to, don't get me wrong I LOVE video games and I will ALWAYS play new games and systems I just never really was the type that"OH I GOTTA HAVE THE GAME WHEN IT COMES OUT AND I GOTTA BE FIRST IN LINE FOR IT!" I usually wait a month or 3 to get games I want after their releases or even longer, the reason for RDR was because I loved Red Dead Revolver. But I understand how a gamer would be pissed off at those things I guess it's just not a big deal to me as it used to be...but I still love video games none the less.
