Why are some links protected with Link protector?
I like to keep some links exclusive to the tottenhamhotspurs.tv members only. The links are only accessable within the forum. The links are protected in such a way that if they are copied and passed on to other forums the link will be inaccessible on that forum. Go ahead and try a link. Go to the web page from within this forum then copy the link in the address bar, open a new browser window and paste that link in the address bar. If you try to access the web page from outside of this forum you will recieve an error message..
Why do I do this?
Simple, I spend my time trawling the internet looking for the software that is posted and offered here and I don't want to make it easy for another forum to come in and steal my work then take credit for it.
Is there a way to bypass the Link Protector?
Not that I know of, otherwise what would be the point of protecting a link.
Is the software legal?
Yes, No link will lead to an illegal download. The software will either be free to use or it will be a promotion by the software vendor who is looking to promote their software by offering free registration serials/licences.
Can a forum member post their own links?
Yes as long as it is legal and within Rule 5 of the forum rules. Links to illegal downloads will be removed without notice.
Where do I find all this software and promotions?
