how do i get google chrome back

was watching the golf on sat night on veetle thru google chrome when a pop up from mcafee came up. it said a programme wants to access the internet. alllow, allow once or block. then in small print said hackers may be able to access this programme so i blocked it. iv blocked google chrome lol and dont know how to unblock it. any help will be appreciated.

What programme did you block it with?

Maybe try to uninstal it, then instal it again.

Simillar thing happened to me last night, I was watching the golf online and clicked on one site and it tryed to download a virus, luckly norton managed to delete it befor it caused any harm!

McAfee should have a list in its options of the programs you've defined as being blocked. Just go on there and remove Chrome from the list. Or just use Firefox.

Right click the McAee shield, change settings, then firewall, then pragram permissions.

It's not a Chrome problem...it's been blocked by the firewall

thanks for the advice rev but yid4eva told me all i needed. id blocked myself out and needed to know where to click lol. all sorted now
