rudi didnt know you were a st pauli fan.i havnt been for about 3 years now but i used to regular with a couple of mates great fooking spot.i have 2 of their jerseys somewhere here in the gaff,and their hoodies are the bollox with the badge on them.what a brillant club and they have a great attitude,plus the supporters club bbqs have to be seen to be believed.

I am indeed, one of a few round my way and some of us make the trip out (usually some time after Christmas for some reason) most seasons [I'm fairly new to the travelling out posse].

St Pauli have great links with Glasgow Celtic. Both left wing clubs and deserve respect.
St. Pauli in the past have taken stands against....
- Neo-Nazi's
- Racism
- Fascism
- Sexism
In many instances ahead of their time when it came to decency....
yeah and they still do to this day,one of the main reasons theyre so popular outside germany as well
St Pauli are an awsome club to support or even watch; passionate supporters, and (from the ones I have met) awsome people all around. It amazes me how well a German club have tackeld all the problems in modern football, and I know that St. Pauli fans are normally the first ones to cause shit when they see Neo Nazi`s in Germany.

oh and even more unusually (at least still in footie, I think) they have an openley homosexual club president, which is why they take such a strong stand on sexism at matches. which is brilliant IMO. Cant see to many people in English footie who have those kind of balls... seeing as the one player who came out gay ended up hanging himself...

Blue Crew is right , St Pauli are the original Red Light club , and have a super interesting history . At the moment they are punching well above their weight .
