NBA Playoffs

So the playoffs are here, any favorites or opinions?

I follow the Bulls primarily but they sucked this year and didn't make the playoffs so I'll be following my backup/other conference team the Spurs (obviously

) who have had a mostly good season and could do well.

I actually don't mind watching basketball, I find it rather amusing actually. I guess I just support the Spurs but it's not as if I make sure I watch them each week. I just watch who ever's on.

Well it's conference finals (semi-finals of the competition) and the Spurs are hanging on. Down 3-1 in a first to 4 series they have to win all remaining games to reach the final. (Stating the obvious

)

They're playing the Lakers who have Kobe Bryant so I think the chances of them winning every game are slim. They'll slip up at some point, the Lakers are just too good. Saying that I think the Bulls came back from 3-1 or something last year but that was only against Miami (I could be completely wrong)

Well they are out now

Beaten 4-1 in the series by the Lakers. I didn't think the Spurs would make the final but I thought they'd make a bit more of a fight of it!!

I know this is last years thread but I can't be annoyed making a new one.

What a series between the Bulls and Celtics so far! 3-3 with most games going to over-time and 1 to triple OT, really hoping to watch the final game tonight tho I have a bad feeling it won't go the Bulls way, maybe cause it's in Boston...

this series wouldnt even be a contest if garnett wasnt hurt, im a mavericks fan so i was proud to see them oust the spurs

Probably not but we'll never know. IF is the biggest wee word there is, if Spurs had kept some players and Jol we might be in the top 4 by now. Injuries happen, as it is the Bulls matched the Celtics for the majority of the series and thats not bad for a team that didn't look like making the playoffs for most of the season.

I'm sad to see them go out but pround of them for the job they did.

I think either Orlando or Denver will win. I think Lakers wil lgo through in their semi final but won't be good enough for whoever wins the other one.

LukaModric2010, I said orlando before I saw James' buzzer beater to level them 1-1. That was icnredible. I don't know who will win know.
