on sky news text it has a quote from maradonas agent, walter soriano, he claims maradona is in talks with a number of european clubs, including aston villa, "he loves the english countryside and your respect for privacy"!!!! reckon he better ask sven, john terry & crouchy about privacy!!!! he wouldn't be able to fart without the sun or the star reporting it with a papparazzi photo on the front page!!!!! i would love it if he came here tho, not for his tactics, the press conferences would be great, not quite mourinho standard mind you, but still, it would be great fun watching him losing the plot on the sidelines!! he was quality viewing at the world cup

If we see Maradonna as a manager of ANY premiership team, that would be brilliant...a legend at White Hart Lane...

Can Maradona even speak English? I think he only worked as Argentina manager because of his legendary status with the national team, and it didn't exactly 'work' did it. He wasn't very good tactically atall.

oh no, great great player, not so great manager, he was rubbish tactically at the world cup, & that would be the problem any team who employs him would have to deal with, it would definitely be a case of "my way or the highway" with maradona

It would be great.!! Love Maradona. The greatest footballer ever. Great memories of him growing up . The press here would slaughter him tho'. He would be beaten before he got off the ground. They will drag him through the gutter press with all the history. He will be ridiculed..!

It was amazing enough he was Argentina's Manager..!! It would be the equiverlent of something like 'Gazza being the England manager.!! Imagine that.!!

Still the greatest footballer of all.

LOL - I didn't say that Maradonna was a tactical genius, what I am saying that it would be brilliant just to see him in our game, on Match of the Day etc. Who cares whether he succeeds or not ?
