At least you aren't a Bengals fan like me. Your team is at least young and has potential to get better. I am not sure if that will happen with Al Davis running the show... he seems to make a mess of everything in recent years.

I'm all for that - although I ain't American. Trouble is that in the UK we don't have a really good magazine/round up programme like we used to when Channel 4 showed it - makes it a bit difficult to keep on top of what's happening.

Would be good to hear the views of people who have grown up with the game as part of their psyche.

I had higher hopes for the Raiders D, I thought they were ready to make the leap.

Then again, Jay Cutler is one of my favorite players to come into the league in a long time so I'm happy to see him light it up... especially for fantasy reasons :-)

That would be good - thanks. Oh me of little faith - saw we beat the Chiefs yesterday though I don't know the details and haven't seen any of the play. What about those Lions though (my second team). Truly shocking in the last 5 minutes.

omg the lions were awful! i mean aaron rodgers and green bay demolished them
and week 1 they let michale turner run fr over 200 yards!!!

but yes oakland did get a win, mcfadden played very well

Luka, who's your team, Cowboys? I read 'Paper Lion' by George Plimpton many years ago (which is why I follow the Lions as my second team), I can recommend it as a very enjoyable read, and also as a bit of NFL history as it was written around 1960. Was made into a film starring Alan Alda of M*A*S*H* fame.

Bronco's and Raider's is one of the best rivalries around!!! I'm from Colorado so I'm glad the won. Sorry...

I don't follow American football that much except for the Broncos. I tend to lean towards soccer and hockey. But I got to root for the Broncs.

didnt get to watch the game unfortunately this weekend was too busy
but the NFL is so wierd this year the colts and chargers with losing records (the chargers were picked by many to win it all) the cowboys only a game above 500
the TITANS undefeated, the patriots losing brady and ladanien tomilson isnt doing too hot
the miami dolphins beating the chargers, rams over cowboys
just been a differnet leauge this year

It has been a really weird season hasn't it? The Broncos have a good record but not because they are playing good, just lucky.

for all you british the titans undefeated is like west ham winning the prmiership!!!!
and the chargers having a losing record is like liverpool fnishing 11th!

just to put a few games into perspective, the chargers lost to the dolphins (the dolphins last year only won one game) so its basically having spurs lost to a cocacola league opponent
