Al Davis? I don't know any Al Davis. It seems that I knew one once, sometime before 1982, but he and his entire Raider Team suddenly vanished in a flash of stupidity and a puff of complete incompetence.

On a totally related note, the NFL sure could use a relegation scheme.

I would love to bring relegation to American sports. I'm mostly thinking baseball as it would keep some of the owners from taking all the money from the league and keeping it rather than improving on field performance.

I would love to see Baseball adopt a relegation scheme. As it is, my favorite baseball is Single A ball. I enjoy seeing real people actually trying for the joy of the sport rather than rich people looking bored and being paid for having a lucky break with talent. And imagine how exciting it is for the fans to watch their teams moving from level to level! I'm totally jealous of the Blackpool fans this year! And, boy, wouldn't it be great to watch the Yankees drop? The entire world would love it!
