It seems to have become a bit predictable. A game is there for us to really get our season off and running and start to build some momentum and yet we fail to seize it.

I personally thought that we played pretty well against Sunderland, although a little predictable. With the amount of creative talent we have in our team we very rarely get in behind teams with slide through balls. Tottenham Hotspur host Sunderland, who were the first club outside the original 12 members to join the Football League, in the 12th round of Premier League matches on Tuesday night.

This will be the 109th time the two teams have met.

The first meeting came at Northumberland Park in March 1898 when Spurs were playing in the Southern League in a friendly which Sunderland won 2-0.

What a great night, we absolutely had Inter off their game for all but about 8 minutes. And we did it (despite the descriptions of the TV pundits) with a combination of great contributions.

Modric was absolutely electric in the first 30 minutes, not only did he create the goal, but he controlled the play and allowed us to keep possession and set the tempo of the game, when other players were still just settling in. After a bit though, he started to make a few mistakes.

We travel to United for the late Saturday kick off this week, for what promises to be an enthralling 90 minutes of attacking football, good refereeing and usually a positive outcome......if you're a United fan.
