I am a optimist, but over the years as a yid I have learnt to not get carried away, to not let the occasion get the better of me, even last year at the peak of things, when champions league was pretty much guaranteed as I walked into the city of manchester stadium expecting someone to bottle my face and violently try to perform gay sex acts on my corpse I remained calm and I remained pessimistic in many ways, always worried that as we all know with spurs we have a tendency to cock it up when we need it the most...

But now I feel something else coming over the horizon, sure results in the league have been disappointing but its one month, one month that will be soon forgotten another ...

Realistically, who would win? This article would provide an analytical outlook on who might win the Carling Cup this afternoon.

Arsenal's form is good. However, they enter this match missing key players in the form of Fabregas (whose chronic injuries MUST be a worrying concern for Arsenal fans as too his pending departure to Quarter Final Champions League bound Barcelona this Summer) and Theo Walcott (who is only effective as a sprint runner more than anything else).

Birmingham City's form however, isn't and their last game was a 2-0 loss to Newcastle.

However, Birmingham's game plan will nullify Arsenal's style of football. Zigic will be Arsenal's ...

Since the start of the season, members from our forum have been asked to provide their ratings on a player’s performance after each Premier League game.

Forum members are given a chance to give a player a score from 3 (the highest/man of the match), to 1 (player’s performance was worth noting).

These ratings have been added up with two thirds of the season gone.

The process for calculation is simple:

      1. The players scores are added up, eg:

      Player A = 400
      Player B = 200
      Player C = 300
      Player D = 100

      2. The scores are then ranked into the top 3:

      Player A
      Player

Nothing has divided opinion among our supporters since Sugar's takeover in '91 than the enigma that is the Olympic stadium. Some are for it, some are against it. I myself was at first staunchly against the idea but it is coming round to me now, Haringey council has done nothing to help us regenerate their area for them, all we have heard from David Lammy is sob stories of how Spurs have broken promises and how disgraceful it is that we are even considering moving when he and his cronies haven't contributed a single penny to the project. There has to be some give and take in this scheme, we are regenerating a deprived area of London for them and the ungrateful sods are sitting back and expecting ...

The expectation was for an exciting, back-and-forth match featuring two of the best clubs in the Premier League on Sunday. Manchester United started the day at the top of the table and without a single loss in the league, whilst Tottenham sat squarely in the middle of the race for a top four finish. The expectation was also that many goals would be scored. The excitement was certainly present, the goals not so much. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United kept the fans inside of White Hart Lane on the edge of their seats as both sides displayed the pace, skill, and awareness that they have come to been known for this season. Though the match ended in a goalless draw, either side could have come ...

Since 1899, White Hart Lane has been the home for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. It has been a venue where dreams and memories have been made. Since 1899, the ground has gone through a number of renovations and has a capacity for 36,000.

Spurs have gone from strength to strength and its success has led to a growth in its following. The waiting list now stands at 20,000+.

Spurs have also gone from relegation contenders to Champion’s League Group winners. Gate receipts from Champions League games and too Premier League and Cup games could be greater. However there is only one problem. The seating capacity.

The ideal solution would be to redevelop ...

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United meet for the second time this season on Sunday at White Hart Lane. It is obvious to any person who has even the most limited knowledge of the EPL table that this is a huge match for both sides. Manchester United are in the pole position to capture their 19th League Title. Tottenham, meanwhile, seek to finish in a Champions League spot for the second season running. The trouble for both teams is that there is a logjam at the top of the table. At the moment United are two points ahead of second place City, though they have two games in hand. Spurs sit fourth, four points behind third place Arsenal and one point in front of fifth place Chelsea. With the ...

Tottenham Hotspur visit St. Andrews on Saturday 4th December to meet Birmingham City in the 16th round of the 2010-11 Premier League season.

This will be the 99th time the two teams have met.

The first meeting came in the old third round (today's fifth round) of the FA Cup in February 1906 in a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane with Birmingham (the City would be added in 1943) wining the replay 2-0 at St. Andrews after extra time.

A Football League encounter followed in November 1908 (Tottenham's first season as a Football League club) with Spurs winning 4-0 at the Lane and drawing 3-3 away in the Second Division.

      The clubs met ...

. . . is a criticism I regularly seen directed at Harry. In all honesty I have no idea where people have formulated this opinion but I guess everyone reads things in their own way.

However, I have never seen precise evidence of Harry "shifting the blame off himself when it goes wrong yet happy to bask in the glory when it goes right" - it all seems to be interpretation to me. Personally I have never bought into this theory & cannot help feeling that it is born out of the exaggeration & the twisting of certain comments and reactions which Harry has made by a particular pocket of Spurs fans who had some sort of issue with Harry even before he arrived at Spurs (or ...

Tottenham Hotspur visit the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in the 14th round of Premier League matches in the early Saturday match.

This will be the 238th time the two teams have met.

Spurs v Arsenal is now one of the great rivalries in World Football but the fixture had very different beginings back in November 1887 when the clubs first met in a friendly played on Tottenham Marshes.

Arsenal, then called Royal Arsenal, had been formed just a year earlier as Dial Square and were essentially the works team for the munitions factory situated in Woolwich, Kent, while Spurs who had been formed some five years earlier in 1882 still had many
