Well @boo and @yid4eva I FINALLY got windows 7 my pc is running sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooo smooth! But I think my video card is done for, my brother and I tried reinstalling once we installed windows 7. We got the red lines on the screen:/, before even installing the drivers. We took it back out and it was hot, I think maybe the fan on it has failed? I would like your input on it but I don't know I think it's done for which means no Skyrim for me on pc.

I don't think it's the monitor because first it was green lines that last time I don't know if you remember and then it was red lines. I don't have another monitor to check it anyways tho:/. Also yid4eva you got any programs in mind to scan for any sort of crap that can harm performance ? It acts up at times and to be honest I am quite pissed off about it trying to maintain this computer is becoming a nightmare lol.

you need to clean your nvidia geforce 9800 gtx+ connecting pins with the cloth and reconnect.
