For many Tottenham fans, this ship sailed months ago, and in all honesty, none of us gave second thought about packing up a certain Frenchman, Spaniard and Uruguayan, especially when we had a English manager for a real English team lined up in the wings.

I am so proud of us after that gut-busting performance against Arsenal - we dug deep in the trenches to lay the bogy, and enhance our chances for that coveted 4th spot. Another massive test is about to take place, in the form of Chelsea, but beating the Old Enemy has done us absolutely no harm at all! Gomes, King and Dawson were magnificent, and were amply aided by every other player on the night.
