I don't really rate him, was he any good in the Championship? I don't really think he's PL standard... certainly his record doesn't show that he scores many goals
He looks great in the championship but that is his level tbh.......he's never going to score lots of goals but can skip past players for fun in the championship!
Should really help them get promotion this season hopefully!!

A step down from the Premiership obviously but a correct one. He will most likely be a shining star in the Championship for the rest of the season. I don't think he ever really cut it for Newcastle although I did see some good glimpses from him this season and it is surprising that Newcastle let him go as they don't really have many out and out wingers in there squad.
If there were only a level between the Championship and PL. He seems too good for the Championship not quite good enough for EPL. As we call them here in the states in baseball a AAAA player
I hope QPR go up though, I have a soft spot for them, I really enjoyed watching them in the early 90's right when I was getting properly into football

No doubt, I can't believe how Warnock has allowed Taarabt to play for them this season. it actually is working very well but if he tries that stuff in the Prem they will get slaughtered
I agree, if they go up which I think they will then Taarabt will get caught out. He may have great skill and a great shot on him but he is still to selfish and if there are 2 options pass or shoot 95% of the time he will shoot. I watched a game a little while ago where he was phenomenal but would not get the space or time and specifically a second chance to pass in the Premier League.
