I think Downing could be a decent player for Liverpool but they have a really bad system of play, it suits no one in the team expect Bellamy because he has the pace to run into channels with the endless tide of through balls down the centre.

Remains for me one of the most average players in the premier league. The guy has talent, but how often is it on display? Would be harsh to liken him to Bentley, but he just seems to go quiet pretty often.
